Rivalry Week

Just thought I would throw in a little personal business in here to break up all the work. Rivalry week, no not Texas/OU, but West Mesquite/Poteet at least for us local folks. We are trying to keep our playoff hopes alive, we meaning West since that is where I am a coach at, while Poteet is trying to do the same thing. As with all rivalries it never seems to matter what the records of the two teams competing are, it always seems to fight until the very end. Anyone outside of the state of Texas that happens to stumble onto this, I have to say that I am sorry that you will never know the magnitude of Texas High School Football and those Friday Night Lights. Sorry Fig and Wright I had to throw that in there.
